This is such a seemingly simple thing, but once enacted, will have tremendous impact on our country.
This is the most important election that we as Christians have ever faced. We need to be on our knees and vote Biblical values. If a doctor/butcher had just performed a late term abortion in front of your eyes, could you in good conscience before God vote for more of the same and throw in your tax dollars to continue supporting this barbarism? Psa 11:3 (NIV) When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?" PRAY!!!
Do you believe we can take God at His word? If so, call upon His name, then stand back and watch His wonders unfold. These scriptures give us, as Christians, ownership of this land and the ability to call upon God to heal it. I challenge you to do just that. We have never been more desperate than now for God to heal our land. This election is the most vital I remember in my lifetime. 2 Chron 7:14 (KJV) 'If My people, which are called by My Name shall humble themselves, and PRAY, and SEEK My face and TURN from their wicked ways, then will I HEAR from heaven, and will FORGIVE their sin, and will HEAL their land.' |

During WWII, there was an advisor to Churchill, who organized the nation to respond to a daily radio alarm, to remind them to drop what they were doing at 9:00 PM every night for one minute, to collectively pray for the safety of England, its people and peace. This had an amazing effect, as the bombing stopped.
There is now a grass-roots motivated group of Christians organizing the same thing here in America. All concerned citizens need to pray more than ever before! If you’d like to participate, set your alarm for 9:00 PM each evening (Eastern Time, 8 PM Central, 7 PM Mountain, 6 PM Pacific), stop whatever you're doing, and spend one minute praying for the preservation of our constitution, the protection of our troops, the safety of our citizens, for peace & freedom to reign, for the upcoming November 2012 elections, that the Bible will remain the basis for the laws governing our land, and for God to bring revival to the hearts of all Pastors and their congregants.

We are in a fight – not against your mother-in-law or any physical enemy (for the record I love my mother-in-law). Jesus said… Matt 18:18 (TEV) “And so I tell ALL OF YOU: what YOU prohibit on earth will be prohibited in heaven, and what YOU permit on earth will be permitted in heaven. James said… James 4:7 (NAS) Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from YOU. YOU resist the devil & he’ll flee from YOU, not from God. Peter said… 1 Pet 5:8-9a (TEV) Be alert, be on watch! Your enemy, the Devil, roams around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 9 Be firm in YOUR faith and RESIST him... …that he may not devour you or your family in Jesus name! Paul said… Eph 4:27 (KJV) Neither give place to the devil. ...which means God gave YOU the authority to close that door. MY PEOPLE actively praying OR passively waiting will determine the destiny of their country!
2 Chron 20:15 (NAS) …and he said, "Listen, all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: thus says the LORD to you, 'Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God's.’” God and His angels fight our battles – we don’t (& can’t) mix it with demons – God & His angels do. Our job is to fight & win the spiritual fight of faith (1Tim 6:12 – see above), staying strong in prayer, worship & confession. Our single-mindedness brings victory. James 1:6-7 (NAS) But let him ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man expect that he will receive anything from the Lord... John 20:26-27 (RSV) Eight days later, his disciples were again in the house, and Thomas was with them. The doors were shut, but Jesus came and stood among them, and said, "Peace be with you." 27 Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side; do not be faithless, but believing." Jesus rebuked Thomas for his faithlessness, for first needing to see before he’d believe.
Abraham on the other hand exemplified single-mined, unwavering faith in the Promise/Word of God, praising God in advance for the unseen and the impossible. His growing faith was pleasing to God (Heb 11:6). God gave him the special title of the friend of God (James 2:23). He is the father of faith whom God chose to make His covenant with. Rom 4:17-21 (NAS) (as it is written, "A father of many nations have I made you") in the sight of Him whom he believed, {even} God, (i) who gives life to the dead and (ii) calls into being that which does not exist. 18 In hope against hope he believed, in order that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken, "So shall your descendants be." 19 And without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah's womb; 20 YET, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief, but GREW strong in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being fully assured that what He had promised, He was able also to perform.
