2014
Our founder & CEO, Pedro David Espinoza, founded SmileyGo at Stanford ENGR145 class with the help of engineering faculty Tom Kosnik, Rebeca Hwang, Ernestine Fu, and Jack Fuchs.
2015
SmileyGo received funding/support from Frank Baxter (Jefferies CEO), Berkeley Startup Seed Funding, Jack Larson Grant, 1517 Fund grant, Berkeley SkyDeck, and Manos Accelerator.
2016
SmileyGo got Mayor Ron Gonzales to join the board in order to help with business development and was recognized as a minority-owned business by the California Public Utilities Commission.
2017
SmileyGo joins the Silicon Valley Leadership Group as a corporate member - our founder Pedro David Espinoza joins the working council and the CEO Airport Taskforce in San Jose, California.
